This is an interesting look at one of the more taboo subjects in Japan. Upon my arrival, it was the most difficult cultural difference for me to accept but is still an unique reflection of how shocking being outside the Euro-centric sphere of influence can be. This particular article handles the controversial theme lightly yet provides some true insight into an aspect of Japanese culture that can only be witnessed from the inside.
